Growth mindset is an idea that learning isn’t about being perfect, but about learning something new. There is multiple perspectives in mindsets like growth and fixed mindset and there is always something to contribute to those mindsets. For a growth mindset they believe knowledge is developed but for a fixed mindset they believe they are naturally born with that intelligence.Carol Dweck,a Stanford psychologist, “The key ,she found, isn’t ability; it’s whether you look at ability as something inherent that needs to be demonstrated or as something that can be developed.”Looking at how these multiple perspectives in people’s mind bring us to how fixed mindset and growth mindset work.As you can see, there are multiple perspectives to contribute to growth and fixed mindset in real life and how they affect a person’s way of thought.
Our artifact has a format of a human brain. There is one brain that is complete which represents the Fixed mindset. The one that has some separated parts is the Growth mindset. The one with the missing pieces shows that the brain is still developing knowledge ,as for the whole one believes that he already knows everything it has to know and that it is naturally smart. The whole brain is a piece of tissue, but the one that is missing pieces is a bodybuilder. What it means by the one that is whole is tissue means it is weak just like a tissue, as for the one that says it’s a bodybuilder means it gains knowledge making it get stronger.
