Growth mindset V.S.  Fixed mindset
Multiple perspectives
Contribution
Growth mindset is an idea that learning isn’t about being perfect, but about learning something new. There is multiple perspectives in mindsets like growth and fixed mindset and there is always something to contribute to those mindsets. For a growth mindset they believe knowledge is developed but for a fixed mindset they believe they are naturally born with that intelligence.Carol Dweck,a Stanford psychologist, “The key ,she found, isn’t ability; it’s whether you look at ability as something inherent that needs to be demonstrated or as something that can be developed.”Looking at how these multiple perspectives in people’s mind bring us to how fixed mindset and growth mindset work.As you can see, there are multiple perspectives to contribute to growth and fixed mindset in real life and how they affect a person’s way of thought.

Our artifact has a format of a human brain. There is one brain that is complete which represents the Fixed mindset. The one that has some separated parts is the Growth mindset. The one with the missing pieces shows that the brain is still developing  knowledge ,as for the whole one believes that he already knows everything it has to know and that it is naturally smart. The whole brain is a piece of  tissue, but  the one that is missing pieces is a bodybuilder. What it means by the one that is whole is tissue means it is weak just like a tissue, as for the one that says it’s a bodybuilder means it gains knowledge making it get stronger.

                                                       Reflection

One Fact about the crucible was John Proctor decided to confess the truth. He wanted to keep his good name and his wife's
While reading about the crucible I felt proud, because he decided to sacrifice himself for his family.  A new idea that I learned about the crucible was having a good name back then was something seen by people with great power.  A personal decision that I will make based on my reading and understanding of "The Crucible " is I will be honest and truthful.

                                                    Reflection

This year i have reached some of my goals but not all, I am still working on them. I have been reading books so far i have only read three ,but our class goal is to read ten. I have not been participating as much as i am spected but i'm looking forward to improve it.  Strengths i have in this class are students are committed to help each other and cooperate. A weakness is everyone in this class have brilliant ideas and put effort to everything and  its  hard for me to catch up sometimes. I don't really have good grammar , but i am willing to improve it. Writing an essay has been mildly hard i have struggled with the introduction, in the other hand group  projects have been easy i enjoy  sharing  ideas with my group and cooperation . This month i will like to work on group projects.

What does being an American mean?

Being american to me means i have the freedom to travel to different states without fearing someone might take me out of that state. Being american makes me feel  thankful to my parents because they risked their lives to give me a better future and education. As mentioned to me the American dream is to be in a free state that gives others the opportunity they deserve and to give children a brighter future.
